Creating a Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Living Space

One of the defining features of this home is its full NanaWall glass system. Rather than a traditional sliding door, the entire second-story glass wall folds open, connecting the home’s main living area directly to the deck.

Our goal was to make that transition feel effortless.

To accomplish this, we installed a horizontal stainless steel cable railing system that provides safety while maintaining clear sightlines from nearly every angle of the deck.

The decking was installed using a hidden fastening system, eliminating visible screws and creating a clean, uninterrupted deck surface.

Beneath the deck, a Trex® RainEscape® drainage system captures and diverts water away from the structure, creating a dry and functional outdoor room below.

To finish the space, we installed a tongue-and-groove pine soffit ceiling, adding warmth and architectural character while transforming the area beneath the deck into a finished outdoor living space.
